Michael was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Carden. Some of the greatest things about Michael was being a devoted son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and bonus dad to Taylor & Hailey Barnes. He was a man of loyalty and compassion, and he had an infectious sense of humor. Michael was passionate about his beliefs and opinions. When the food came out and the music came on, he was the man on the grill for family, neighbors and friends. He loved to collect all things starwars, play golf, and spend time with his friends and family. Michael was a laid back kind of guy, who loved spending time at the beach. Michael started in the warehouse and worked his way up the ladder all the way to management. He followed in the footsteps of his father and devoted his work life to the trucking industry for nearly 25 years. He had the biggest heart and a gentle soul.

Michael was born September 18, 1978, in Guilford County to Dewey C Carden and Pamela K. Michael Justin Carden, 44, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love Wednesday evening, J.
